A Little Bit of Good News

I got a little sign of hope today....

Bo's Dad contacted me today around noon, and via emails, we chatted about what to do with Bo. I have agreed that after this weekend, starting Monday, he will go live with his father for a 30 day trial period. We have hammered out holidays that will work for us, but we are going to try this.

He also has made an appointment with a couselor tomorrow for Bo to start therapy. So that is another good sign.

I'm not sure where things stand on the motion to modify, but I think we can work this out without lawyers and courts, b/c at this point, I think the drama and trauma and stress of that would be just too much for Bo to deal with.....

Glad that you and Numb Nuts are working on a schedule. However, this constant change in his life's pattern is fucking him up. With that being said, Bo should not have to attend therapy by himself. His parents need to go with him b/c they are the prime reason he "needs" to go. He has been used as a chess piece to force the other parent's move. He has been used as an excuse to do or not do certain things. Been shuffled back and forth between houses. Having to keep in mind at least 5 sets of rules (mother's, father's, both sets of grand parents, and school). That's enough to scramble anybody's brain. I'm not calling either parent unfit because they are not. Bo has been cared for. He has a roof, clothes, food, water, and family(s) that love him. Don't send Bo to therapy because you think he needs help. He's not the root of the problem. His "issues" are a direct reflection of the problem. And until those problems causing Bo's issues can work things out, therapy won't work.
